Some positives include MHD for over 10 employees, a large direct settlement network, dedicated account managers and a 12 month waiting period for maternity benefits. This could be seen as a benefit of the group policies because for the individual plans the 12 month waiting period includes conception. This is most unusual and certainly ensures Aetna compares less favourably to other insurers offering maternity cover.
