Manulife Introduction

Manulife has been in operation in Hong Kong for more than a century and is a popular company in the local market. It is a part of the Canada-based Manulife Financial, which has existed for over 125 years and has primary operations in North America and Asia.

Manulife’s group medical plans are centred on three core offerings:

• ManuPlan – This is a tailor-made plan designed to suit the wide ranging needs of every employee. Optional benefits include cover for hospitalization, clinical vists, dental, maternity, panel doctor services and term life cover. Very flexible plan but low levels of cover.
• EliteCare – Designed for more executive members, this is an add-on for the ManuPlan, which offers full reimbursement for hospital and clinical visits up to the prescribed limits.
• ManuCare – This is a flexible plan for 3 or more employees. It offers cover for hospitalization with clinical visits an optional extra and the levels of cover these provide can be mixed and matched depending on the needs of the employees.
