Platinum Term details
Should you become totall disabled by accident or illness, FTLife's disability policy provides
(i) A Monthly Benefit
A Monthly Benefit of up to HKD20,000 will be paid to you immediately after 90 days of your disability until the cessation of Total Disability, maximum up to age 65.
(ii) A Waiver of Premium
If you are unable to work for a period of six months or longer, we will waive your premiums of Disability Protector during any further continuous period of Total Disability.
FTLife will pay a lump sum benefit equal to 3 times the Monthly Benefit less any benefits already paid.. if you die
* Total Disability means that, as a result of injury or illness, the Insured is unable to perform your own occupation for the first 2 years of disability, and thereafter, to perform any gainful occupation for which the Insured is reasonably suited by education, training or experience. In either case, Monthly Benefit is only paid when the Insured is not engaged in any occupation for wage or profit.
This plan will be renewed at the end of every 5 years. The renewal period is 5 years or up to the age 65 of the insured, whichever is shorter. Premium will be fixed within each renewal period and will be revised based on the attained age of the insured up renewal,
