For groups of 10 or more staff, Now Health offers to disregard medical history and does not underwrite. If your staff numbers are below this threshold, however you will need them to submit medical questionnaires
The cover levels are as below:
WorldCare Essential - Now Health’s most basic package is designed for businesses that want to be sure their employees can access in-patient and day-patient care when they need it, while minimising their health insurance costs. You can choose a higher excess to lower your premiums.
WorldCare Advance - This plan covers your employees for in-patient and day-patient treatment and for some out-patient care including GP and specialist appointments, physiotherapy and alternative therapies. It is suitable for businesses that want to provide all-round medical care for their staff.
Worldcare Excel - This plan covers in-patient, out-patient and day-patient treatment at higher benefit levels than WorldCare Advance. It also includes routine and complex dental care after a nine-month waiting period.
Worldcare Apex - This is our highest level of cover. With very high benefit limits, it includes in-patient, day-patient and out-patient treatment and routine and complex dental treatment, at higher benefit levels than WorldCare Excel. WorldCare Apex also includes routine maternity care after a 12-month waiting period.
SimpleCare is available as a group product for groups of 3-99 people.
Groups larger than 10 are offered 'Medical History Disregarded'.
Unusual in today's group market, Now Health rates its SimpleCare groups on a community rating model.
Since launch, SimpleCare has had price rises that are extremely competitive when you consider that around 10% pa is the typical price rise applied to international private medical plans.
SimpleCare was first launched as in July 2018 and is designed to address the needs of a new generation of cost conscious, digitally literate expatriates moving abroad , most of whom end up on local employment contracts
SimpleCare offers vital protection for all major health incidents including:
- hospitalisation,
- surgery,
- cancer treatment, and
- evacuation and repatriation.
Customers can also choose to add low (up to USD 1,000) or medium (up to USD 2,500) levels of coverage for out-patient treatment, including physiotherapy, dental and alternative therapies if they wish. To reduce cost there are a range of deductible options and as well the optíon of co-insurance and and uniquely, per visit excesses.
Digital Only Access
SimpleCare is a completely digital plan, and Now Health's state of the art tools make it easy for its members to utilize their plan online anywhere in the world, anytime.
All our members have access to:
- Secure Online Portfolio: Members receive their own personalized log in which enables them to view and download plan documents, see a summary of how much of their benefits have been used to date, submit claims and pre-authorisations online, track their claims in real-time, and even introduce us to their favourite medical provider.
- Smartphone App: Now Health's Smartphone Appenables members to find the nearest doctor or specialist from within the provider network, make and book appointments, and submit claims.
- Virtual Membership Card: Members can also add their membership card to their smartphone wallet or download a copy from their secure online portfolio.

WorldCare is Now Health's premium product, designed to be comprehensive and benefit rich, with different levels of cover to suit various lifestyles.
There are four levels of cover to choose from, ranging from essential hospital care through to their most comprehensive plan, which includes in and out-patient treatment cover, including dental and maternity.
All Now Health's plans come with the great service Now Health International such as a fast and accurate claims service and state of the art digital tools.
