Unilife

The Unilife group was formed in 2010 by Dr Graham Harley Woolford and Stephen Paul Conway, both veterans of business and the insurance industry, who wished to create a truly global insurance provider, offering organizations and individuals wherever they are in the world the most extensive range of products in the most competitive - and accessible - manner.

The family of companies under the Unilife umbrella is small, and tight-knit, enabling them to concentrate on providing their clients with the best products and service:

Unilifeglobal Limited is registered in England and Wales with registration number 09111373, and is authorised and regulated by the United Kingdom Financial Conduct Authority, with authorisation number 719400.

The group has offices in the UK, South Africa and Malaysia.

Group Benefit Solutions

Whether a small business with just a few employees or a much larger business with operations and staff in multiple countries, employee benefits are an integral part of attracting and retaining talent in today’s highly competitive and increasingly mobile global economy.

Group Benefit Solutions at a glance

Group Life

Either for death by any cause or death by natural causes only.

Accidental Death

By adding Accidental Death as a rider benefit to Group Life, double the sum assured is paid out in the event of accidental death. This is known as a double indemnity benefit.

Accidental Death can also be a standalone benefit instead of Group Life.

Critical Illness

Dealing with a serious illness can be financially challenging.

Critical Illness cover provides a lump sum to the employee on the first ever diagnosis of a specific insured condition. This benefit can be provided either as a standalone or as a rider benefit on Group Life.

Permanent and Total Disablement (PTD)

A lump sum to be paid out in the event that an employee is permanently and totally disabled for a period of 12 months and medically considered beyond hope of recovery.

This benefit can be provided either as a standalone or as a rider benefit on Group Life.

Long Term Disability (LTD)

As a standalone benefit, LTD cover provides employees with an income should they become unable to work due to illness or injury, for an extended period, or possibly to the normal retirement age of the company.

Short Term Disability (STD)

Cover for accidents or illnesses but for a shorter indemnity period than LTD.

Other Benefits

Unilife are also able to arrange other specialist types of cover for our corporate customers, such as:

• Funeral Cover
• War and Terror
• Kidnap and Ransom
